The Mini Retreat (1/2 day or full day)

with Donna Millard (Physiotherapist) collaborating with Steph Helps (Personal Trainer)

We bring you a wonderful combination of wellbeing approaches to support deep therapeutic benefits for the mind body and soul.

Pilates, Yoga and a Gong Bath with a guided Yoga Nidra to finish.  

Combining exercise therapy, including Yoga and Pilates with a qualified physiotherapist and personal trainer,  breathwork, stretching, guided meditations and sound bath healing. 

Full day retreats may have additional therapies/ists such as acupressure point stimulation to help support your wellbeing (this is optional). Guest speakers offering advice such as Life Coaching, Counsellors, Nutritionists, Women’s Health Physio etc to add help and support to the multifaceted approach that needs to be taken to support your wellbeing. 

There will always be Q & A at the ½ and full day retreats to answer some of your questions.  

About us:

After running my own wellbeing retreat in 2023 (please see testimonials).  I wanted to bring a sprinkle of the magic made during the weekend and provide day retreats. Making it affordable and accessible for everyone.   

Steph has a wealth of experience in health and fitness you can check her out hereHaving worked with Steph, I understood her values to be the same as my own. That good physical and mental wellbeing is for all and not for the elite.   We both have Yoga and Pilates training and have for many years been serving our local community to keep well, physically, emotionally and spiritually.  

It was during our working time together that I reached out to Steph to seek her thoughts on us collaborating to spread the magic in what we know best and that is keeping fit, healthy and happy!  Not just because of our training and knowledge but because of our own life experiences and what we have learnt from these. 

For each retreat you will need to bring:

  • Water
  • Towel
  • Small pillow
  • Blanket/s
  • Socks
  • Wear layers but bring enough to keep warm and anything else you think you will need

Please note that photographs and videos will be taken for social media purposes.  Completing your registration will assume that this is not prohibited.  Should you not wish for your photographs to be used then please let us know in writing to dm@donnamillard.co.uk.

Changes to the program may occur and running the retreat with these changes are the organisers responsibility.   Should the event be cancelled by the organiser, a full refund will be given.  

No refunds given for non-attendance 

Ensure you have eaten before the retreat as we do not provide food.

Please turn off all phones if possible, making this a digital detox (We appreciate this may not always be possible but if you can be discreet should you do need to answer a call. Thank you.

Having returned from Donna’s 2023 retreat in the Peak District I can honestly say that I feel like a new woman!

Donna had thought of every little detail to make the whole retreat so special and welcoming for everyone.

The location was one of such amazing beauty and the accommodation was warm, stylish, homely and comfortable with absolutely stunning views of the surrounding hills and valleys.

The food was out of this world, Bex is an incredibly talented chef with healthy vegan food that was beyond tasty!

Natalie provided us with amazing massages to promote further relaxation and wellbeing.

Donnas classes were outstanding, great for every level with focus on using different props to improve posture and build, stretch or relax our muscles . The meditations and gentle music soothed our souls and lulled us to sleep well at night.

Donna has put so much thought and effort into making this retreat so truly inspiring but also fun and relaxing. Everybody was so lovely and we shared the love and joy xxx

Everything about the weekend was perfect, from the venue and the setting over looking the breath-taking scenery of the Peak District, to Bex’s delicious vegan food, your Pilates classes were focussed with everything so well organised, as well as having a relaxing schedule with the freedom to participate if you wanted to. From walks to emerging yourself in fresh water in the local river, which I avoided only because I thought photos were also a priority! Last but not least, to share this very special experience with the beautiful group of people I was surrounded by is something I will never forget. You are a true legend Donna and thank you again.
