Physiotherapy in Bishop’s Stortford

I have been working with the human body for over 20 years, treating everyone from the young, the elderly to the athlete. I have a hands-on multifaceted approach with effective and positive treatment outcomes, using evidence-based practice with Chinese medicine and other complimentary therapies.

The importance of understanding the link between a person’s physical and emotional symptom is paramount when treating dis-ease.  Therefore, my training is extensive to include a multifaceted approach. I am a part of The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and in the Health and Beauty Listings.

About me

As a qualified physiotherapist my core values are to consider the whole person and treat the whole person. I use a caring and sensitive approach to relax my patients and gain their trust. I have a hands-on multifaceted approach with effective and positive treatment outcomes, using evidence-based practice with Chinese medicine and other complimentary therapies.

I am proud to say that I have gained most of my patients through word of mouth recommendations.

Working with the human body for over 18 years, I first trained as a holistic therapist applying sports massage and reflexology before qualifying as a physiotherapist – treating everyone from the young, the elderly to the athlete.

The importance of understanding the link between a person’s physical and emotional sides is paramount when treating pain. Therefore, my training has extended to myofascial release and acupuncture, often used in conjunction with physiotherapy techniques in order to get the best results for my patients.

Over the past few years I have also used Pilates to help rehabilitate my patients. I trained with The Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI) in Matwork series, using small equipment such as balls, and bands to help maintain good posture and to achieve strength, length and overall fitness.
