Need to get in touch? Contact Physiotherapist in Bishop’s Stortford, Donna Millard, to discover her caring and sensitive approach to physiotherapy.
“Donna is an excellent physio and would thoroughly recommend her. She has helped my son with a couple of injuries acquired through playing football, he’s at an academy and plays most days. Not only did Donna very quickly deal with the injuries he presented with, but also corrected his rotated hips/lower back which was the source of many of his problems. Donna got him back to match fit really quickly, am very impressed with her knowledge and skill.”
I am a Chartered and State Registered Physiotherapist and part of The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. As a qualified physiotherapist my core values are to consider the whole person and treat the whole person. I use a caring and sensitive approach to relax my patients and gain their trust. I have a hands-on multifaceted approach with effective and positive treatment outcomes, using evidence-based practice with Chinese medicine and other complimentary therapies.
I am proud to say that I have gained most of my patients through word of mouth recommendations.
I graduated with a 1st class honours degree in Physiotherapy, setting my business up first as a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist. My specific areas of expertise include, spinal, headaches, joint or muscle pain, insomnia, Irritable bowl, menopausal symptoms and anxiety. I use a combination of physiotherapy, massage, acupuncture, myofascial release, manipulations, taping, exercises or holistic therapies.
Much of the work I do is not just about physical pain but very much about pain as a direct influence of our brain, thought processes and past experiences and how this affects our health and wellbeing. I regularly empower my patients/clients to take action and change their lives both physically and mentally. You can find more information about the treatments that I offer here.
